Brazil Nut Oil is pressed from the nuts of the Bertholletia excelsa tree, also known as the Brazil nut tree. The tree is one of the largest in the Amazonian region, extending upwards to 50 meters in height. Inside the hard, wood-like outer casing of the fruit is an average of 10 to 21 Brazil nuts, arranged like the segments of an orange.

Brazil nuts consist of approximately 67% oil, which Brazilian natives utilize in cooking and within skin and hair care applications. Organic Brazil Nut Oil possesses a unique fatty acid profile that includes omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, making it an ideal ingredient for inclusion within cosmetic, personal care and spa applications.
