It is a 100% pure, silk protein powder that preserves the natural composition and physical structure of cocoon silk. It is extremely fine in texture and possesses a very smooth, silky feel. It has a particle size of < 5 microns.

It is meticulously processed to preserve the natural amino acid and trace mineral composition and physical structure of cocoon silk. To produce the powder, milled, raw silk fiber undergoes alkaline hydrolysis, dealkylation and is then dried and carefully packaged.

Superfine Silk Powder is valued as a filler in mineral makeup formulations to help soften the appearance of fine lines, provide moisture balance, absorb excess oil and provide a silky slip.
