Try our natural cosmetic grade fruit seeds and fibers in your soap, suspension shower gel, foot scrub and body scrub formulations. They also look stunning in transparent soaps and gels. Within soapmaking applications, we recommending using approximately 2-4 teaspoons per pound of soap. Our natural, cosmetic grade fruit seeds are prepared by isolating the seeds from the dried fruit pulp and then carefully milling and sterilizing them. This process allows them to be used in skin care formulations without the chance of contamination. Fruit seeds are a visually eye catching addition to skin care formulations. They are suitable for use in viscous applications such as shower gels or where aggressive exfoliation is sought. Fruit fibers are prepared by drying natural fruit pomace and then carefully sifting and milling it to a fine powder. Fruit fibers contain the natural fibrous components of the fruit and are ideal for use both as a gentle exfoliant and as a natural colorant within skin care formulations.
Our finely ground, pure nut and seed meals provide moderate to aggressive exfoliation while imparting the nutritive benefits of the natural oil content contained within the meal. They are especially well suited for use in body scrubs, polishes and exfoliating soaps. They can be blended with liquid body gel, essential oil, vegetable oils and oatmeal or salt to achieve a moisturizing body polisher. They can also be combined with cream, milk, honey, clay, mud or our mild liquid castille soap for a natural body scrub. Nut and Seed Meals can also be added as an exfoliant to your soaps. We encourage use of an anti-oxidant like T-50 vitamin E oil to keep the nut meal stable within your formulations.
Our 100% natural pure jojoba wax beads provide gentle exfoliation without leaving microlacerations on delicate skin. These soft, tiny, colorful spherical beads are superior to ground nut shells and pumice powders for gentle facial and body exfoliation products. They are perfect for use within scrubs, body washes and soaps. They look beautiful when suspended in suspension shower gels.
For centuries, people have bathed in the mineral-rich seas of the world to help promote good health and beautiful skin. Ancient records show that people traveled many miles to bathe in salt waters such as the Dead Sea, the Black Sea, the Red Sea, the Blue Lagoon and the famous mineral springs around the world. The mineral-rich, salty waters have been know to help soothe and alleviate dry and problem skin. Salt water bathing is stimulating, hydrates the skin, increases moisture retention, helps remove impurities, and helps soothe dry, scaling, irritated skin. Important minerals such as magnesium, potassium, bromide, and calcium are highly beneficial. Salts are well suited for making bath soaks, bath bombs, bath fizzies, scrubs and foot soaks. Salts are also ideal for hand, foot and body scrub applications intended for thorough exfoliation, scrubbing and cleansing. Naturally harvested sea salts are hand cleaned when packaged. However, they may contain small particles of seaweed, sand, shell or other beach particles. Large mineral deposits appear as small stones or pebbles. These particles are not harmful, but can be removed, if desired.
Sweeten up your body scrubs with these luscious, natural sugars. They provide gentle to medium exfoliation, look decadent and are suitable for use in both facial and body scrub formulations. Experiment by substituting one of our natural sugars for the salt in your favorite salt scrub recipe. Because our sugars retain their natural molasses content, they do impart a slightly sweet, molasses aroma to your recipe. When choosing essential or fragrance oils to fragrance your sugar-based formulation, we suggest choosing oils with aromas that will blend well. Examples of essential oils that tend to blend well with our sugars are sandalwood, patchouli, orange, vanilla or peppermint. You may also explore our selection of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, fruit, nut and spice fragrance oils for fragrances that blend well with our sugars.
