Our Organic Rosemary Hydrosol is meticulously produced by expert artisanal distillers who distill specifically for the hydrosol. It is not distilled as a byproduct of essential oil production. Distilled using copper alembic stills, our Organic Rosemary Hydrosol possesses an especially sweet, delightful, herbaceous aroma. It does not have the unpleasant "still note" that hydrosols can have when they are produced using stainless steel equipment. Distillation using copper stills may also help the hydrosol be more resistant to microbial growth.
Organic Rosemary Hydrosol is invigorating and stimulating. It is an effective toner for oily skin and is suitable for inclusion in skin care products intended for normal to oily skin. Both Organic Rosemary Essential Oil and Organic Rosemary Verbenone Hydrosol are helpful in promoting healthy, shiny hair. Organic Rosemary Hydrosol makes a wonderful hair rinse.
It is a good addition to room sprays, mists and steams intended to support normal, healthy breathing.
As with all of our organic ingredients, our Organic Rosemary Hydrosol is certified organic by CCOF, a USDA-accredited certifying agency.

We ship our hydrosols in plastic to avoid breakage, but hydrosols should be transferred to glass as soon as possible. Like essential oils, hydrosols should be stored in a cool dry place. The shelf life of hydrosols is up to 2 years when they are stored properly. Our Rosemary Verbenone Hydrosol does not contain any preservatives. Hydrosols can be stored in the refrigerator.
*Typical Shelf Life begins on the date of manufacture and is defined as the typical shelf life of an ingredient when it is stored and handled properly. The Typical Shelf Life is offered as a general guideline. It should not be considered to be an expiration date. Many ingredients are usable beyond the stated date, especially when stored and handled very carefully.
