Our Organic Sweet Almond Oil is produced using premium quality certified organic almonds harvested in Sicily.

Almond trees are native to the Middle East, but are cultivated in many regions including Italy.

Almond trees, Prunus amygdalus dulcis, are deciduous trees that belong to the Rosaceae plant family. The trees produce beautiful pale pink blossoms that grow to become drupes after pollination of the blossoms. Although typically classified as nuts, almonds are more properly classified as drupes or seeds because they are enclosed in a hull and hard shell.

Our Organic Sweet Almond Oil is cold expeller pressed, filtered and carefully packaged to protect the nutritive benefits and purity of this superior quality oil. It is 100% natural. As with all our organic ingredients, it is certified organic by CCOF.

Consisting primarily of Oleic Acid and Linoleic Acid, Organic Sweet Almond Oil is predominantly unsaturated in its fatty acid composition. As such, it is a versatile lipid that helps to support healthy skin and hair.

Organic Sweet Almond Oil leaves the skin looking and feeling smooth and hydrated. It is highly emollient and is well suited for products intended to sooth and protect dry, parched, cracked, sensitive and problem skin. It helps to balance skin tone and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Within hair care applications, Organic Sweet Almond Oil conditions and protects the scalp and helps to support healthy, lustrous, shiny hair. Its mild aroma and lovely texture also makes Organic Sweet Almond Oil a wonderful choice for inclusion in massage formulations.
