Our Clary Sage Essential Oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops of Salvia sclarea that is grown, harvested and distilled in England.

For emotional wellness, Clary Sage Essential Oil is an especially calming essential oil. Naturally containing significantly more of the calming constituent Linalyl Acetate than does Lavender Essential Oil, Clary Sage Essential Oil is well suited for use in formulations intended to help reduce anxious feelings and promote restful sleep, relaxation and to encourage a sense of calm. It is also considered to be an aphrodisiac by some, and it may be helpful in sexual wellness applications. In spiritual applications, it is said to help support spiritual balance.

Within personal care applications, Clary Sage Essential Oil can help support healthy skin, hair and digestion.

Aromatically, our Clary Sage Essential Oil is a middle note. It possesses an earthy, herbaceous, slightly floral aroma. It blends well with other essential oils especially those within the herbaceous, citrus, floral and wood families.
