Our therapeutic quality, pure Light Patchouli Essential Oil is steam distilled using stainless steel stills from the aromatic leaves of Pogostemon cablin, a bushy plant that is native to Asia and is cultivated in Indonesia.

Aromatically, Light Patchouli Essential Oil possesses a rich, sweet, earthy aroma. It acts as a base note within fragrancing applications and can help serve as a natural fixative. It blends beautifully with many other essential oils and aromas especially those within the wood, citrus, floral, spicy, balsamic and resinous families. It is wonderfully suited for both men and women. Aromatically, a little goes a long way. Even if you find the aroma of Light Patchouli Essential Oil to be a bit too earthy or intense on its own, do practice blending it in small proportions with other aromatics as the outcome can be quite wonderful.

Traditionally, Light Patchouli Essential Oil is produced using stainless steel stills. Dark Patchouli Essential Oil is traditionally produced in iron stills. Light Patchouli Essential Oil is favored over Dark Patchouli Oil in formulations that benefit from the lighter oil color.

Emotionally, Light Patchouli Essential Oil is very grounding, supports a peaceful mind and helps encourage a calm outlook and positive mindset. It is said that it can act as an aphrodisiac.

Comments: I don't know why I've never purchased the Patchouli oil from FNWL before, but it was the best decision I've ever made when it comes to this! It has a deep, rich, intoxicating scent and a little goes a long way. Was very happy with my purchase.

Comments: Not just good, but a BEAUTIFUL Patchouli. I use it in a frankincense and myrrh soap, and also a lime-bergamot-patchouli soap. Good manly scents. A little goes a long way, and the scent holds up very well.
