Summary:
A healing and soothing eczema treatment
Ingredients:
1 cup colloidal oatmeal fine
2 drops Roman chamomile essential oil
2 drops lavender Bulgaria essential oil
1 tablespoon wheatgerm oil
1 tablespoon oat oil
3 cups boiling water
Instructions:
Slowly simmer all the ingredients (except for essential oils) for about 20 minutes. Strain the mixture through muslin. You can use the strained ingredients in the muslin in your bath to soften your skin. Keep simmering the strained liquid over a low heat to reduce to desired thickness. Apply this to affected areas to soothe and heal eczema. This treatment contains no chemicals or preservatives and must be kept refrigerated. It should only be kept for a few days. Alternatively, freeze this recipe in an ice cube tray and defrost a cube for a two day supply when needed. This always works for my eczema flare ups which come on at the beginning of every summer - stops it right in its tracks.
