Reviewed By: Vicki Posted: Saturday, August 9, 2014 Location: Seymour, TN Comments: I needed a true green and ordered liquid color additive green #5. It is turquoise. Which green is closest to a true green? FNWL Response: Hi Vicki, as the description for this liquid dye states: "FNWL uses the standardized name for this color additive. Standardized names, however, can sometimes be vague. Green #5 possesses a blue-green hue and is predominantly blue in tone." May I recommend that you please read the descriptions of our other color additives to help select one that matches the hue/color that you have in mind. If we don't have the exact green that you are seeking, it is possible to experiment and combine dyes (i.e. yellow and blue) to more closely achieve the color that you are seeking.
