Summary:
Fragrant, rich and nourishing body balm made with jojoba butter, shea butter, sweet almond, avocado and rosehip seed oils.
Ingredients:
2 oz Jojoba esthers (MP56 for harder balm, MP44 for a softer/creamier texture)
1 oz Shea butter
2 oz Sweet Almond oil
1/2 oz Avocado Oil
1/2 oz Rosehip seed oil
8 drops of Rose ess. or fragrance oil (optional)
12 drops of Neroli ess. oil or fragrance oil (optional)
Instructions:
Melt the jojoba and shea butters over low heat in a double boiler. Alternately, you can melt them in microwave in a glass bowl warming 20-30 seconds at a time, and stirring occasionally until the butter/waxes are melted.
Remove from the heat, and add the fixed oils stirring to mix well while the product is still hot. Allow it to cool a little (warm to touch) then add the essential & fragrant oils and stir to blend well. You can use any ess. or fragrant oil you like to get the scent you want.
Pour in a glass jar and set aside for 24 hrs to allow the product to cool and harden. This will yield a thick balm that will melt on your skin. To use: scoop a little balm with your finger and rub between palms to warm, then rub into skin.
