Organic Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is a remarkable hydrosol for its use both in emotional and skin care applications. The aroma of Organic Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is slightly floral with a sweet, fruit-like aroma.
In skin care, Organic Roman Chamomile makes a wonderful toner and is helpful for oily and challenging skin types. Suzanne Catty recommends it as a make-up remover. It is soothing and helps to support muscular wellness.<.p>
Emotionally, Organic Roman Chamomile Hydrosol helps calm the nerves and is the ideal hydrosol for inclusion in formulations for anxiety and insomnia. It makes an excellent room mist and linen spray for providing calming and relaxation during stressful days and at bedtime.
Organic Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is both safe and recommended for use in babycare and childcare formulations. Its remarkable calming properties makes it a wonderful addition to sprays for baby's room, baby's bathwater and for use to wipe after diaper changes. It can be used as a soothing wetting agent for natural baby wipes. It can also be blended with one of our lavender hydrosols for a soothing and calming blend.
Suzanne Catty recommends its use in calming pets and we definitely see promise in this application for the hydrosol.

We ship our hydrosols in plastic to avoid breakage, but hydrosols should be transferred to glass as soon as possible. Like essential oils, hydrosols should be stored in a cool dry place. The shelf life of hydrosols is up to 2 years when they are stored properly. Our Organic Roman Chamomile Hydrosol does not contain any preservatives. Hydrosols can be stored in the refrigerator.
*Typical Shelf Life begins on the date of manufacture and is defined as the typical shelf life of an ingredient when it is stored and handled properly. The Typical Shelf Life is offered as a general guideline. It should not be considered to be an expiration date. Many ingredients are usable beyond the stated date, especially when stored and handled very carefully.
