Blend our Diffuser Base with either our Skin Care Fragrance Oils , Candle and Potpourri Fragrance Oils or our Essential Oils * to create extraordinary fragrances for use with our Diffuser Reeds . The Diffuser Base slows the evaporation of fragrance oils, essential oils and other natural volatile aromatics (CO2s and absolutes). The base allows the oil to be slowly wicked up the reeds.
PLEASE NOTE: The diffuser base must be tested with all fragrances or essential oils in order to confirm compatibility.
Our Diffuser Base is alcohol, phthalates, and preservative free.
Usage Instructions:
We recommend a usage ratio of 25-50% Diffuser Base to fragrance oil. Pour the mixture into a small-neck bottle. Boston Round bottles work well. Place 3-5 reeds into the bottle. After a few minutes, remove the reeds, flip them and place them upside down in the bottle. This jump starts the wicking of fragrance. Occasionally, flip the reeds to recharge the fragrance.
* The Diffuser Base can also be used with essential oils and other natural liquid aromatics like CO2s and absolutes, but the ratio of oil to Diffuser Base may need to be increased, especially when creating blends that include more subtle essential oils like patchouli or sandalwood. The diffuser base was formulated with fragrance oils in mind, and we simply can't test the base with every essential oil, absolute or CO2. We encourage our customers to do adequate testing when using the base with essential oils, absolutes, CO2s and other natural volatile aromatics.
Suggestions:
The diffuser base is clear. For added visual appeal, the base can be colored with Natural Tinting Herbs .. Oil or water dispersible FD&C or D&C Dyes can also be used. Some of the resulting colors are surprising, so we recommend that you take that into consideration.
Herbs and Botanicals such as Juniper Berries can be added to the diffuser base to give added visual appeal.

Location: Lake Geneva, WI Diffuser oil is one of my best sellers and FNWL's product is the best base I've found. It does not have a chemical odor and blends well with the fragrance oils.
