Sweet Almond Butter is obtained from sweet almond oil and exhibits all of the natural qualities of sweet Almond Oil. The Almond oil is blended with hydrogenated vegetable oils resulting in a soft, light colored butter. The Sweet Almond butter has a mild scent which melts easily for formulations. It hydrates the skin and restores elasticity. Sweet Almond Butter is a perfect choice for lip balms and body sticks for chapped skin. It can be added to soap, creams, lotions and bath bombs.
About Our Vegetable Butter Packaging: Our butters are packaged in airtight plastic containers, not retail packaging. We are a wholesale supplier, and most of our customers use our butters in their product formulations. Butters can sometimes melt during transit, and these containers help ensure that the butters don't leak. For a selection of glass and plastic easy-open jars that are wonderful to use in conjunction with our butters, look to our Packaging section.

FNWL Almond Butter is incredibly lovely. The consistency is much creamier and softer than Shea Butter with almost no odor. I mix this butter with CO2 Oat Extract as a face cream. LOVE IT!!

The first time I bought and tried the sweet almond butter I absolutely loved it - so smooth. I couldn't wait to purchase the product again and this time a larger amount. Well, I was so disappointed. The butter was very gritty. I wrote to FNWL and was told that heating the product would take care of the problem. I tried this and true, while the product was melted it was not gritty but once it solidified it was gritty again. I have to rub it between my hands until it melts before I can apply it to my body. I'm not happy.
FNWL Response: Nancy, during transit, vegetable butters may possibly melt or partially melt. Some butters may crystallize if they resolidify too slowly. This does not impact the quality or usability of the butter. Most of our customers are artisans and personal care manufacturers that melt vegetable butters for incorporation into personal care products. A grainy texture only affects those customers that have the desire to use butters "as is." Click here to learn how to properly eliminate crystallization.
