Summary:
Great for softening calluses, knees, elbows, and the dry patches of eczema and psoriasis. Also helps skin heal.
Ingredients:
1/4 tsp. beeswax
1/4 tsp. cocoa butter
1/4 tsp. lanolin
1/4 tsp. sweet almond oil
1/8 tsp. Vitamin E oil
3/4 tsp. emu oil
2-5 drops tea tree oil (optional)
Instructions:
Heat the beeswax and cocoa butter until it melts, then add other ingredients. Reheat until mixture looks smooth (usually 1 or 2 minutes), remove from heat and stir well. This is a small enough amount to put in a small lip balm pot and carry with you. The emu oil is nutritive itself and also penetrates deep into the skin, helping to bring the other nourishing oils with it. Vitamin E helps your skin repair itself, and Tea Tree is a great anti-microbial agent, and makes it smell nice too.
